I am who I am and who I have been

Yesterday I attended Make Mine a Million Dollar Business put on by Count Me In (is that a fabulous name for an organization devoted to supporting women entrepreneurs???). When Nell Merlino was talking about founding Count Me In she called it her calling -- it is visibly her passion. I have been thinking about what is my passion since then. Yes, I am passionate about my family and Sweet Jack, but from the age of 8 I have loved business. I love learning how different businesses operate, market, survive obstacles, grow, flame out -- anything. I also love dinner parties -- setting the table, mixing the guests, cooking the food, wallowing in the interesting, lively conversation. As I continued thinking I realized that my life is really much more all of a piece that I have thought.

As I have gotten older I have combined the second two passions in all different variations. This website is another variation of having a business that brings together interesting women -- and we are doing our first wine tasting in Scottsdale on April 2, so I am even adding the entertaining piece.

Isn't it fun to be this age and find that our lives are about doing what we love?
