Up in the Air

Have you seen the movie Up in the Air. For openers, it's a really good movie with some outstanding vignettes of real people talking about what it is like to lose their job. Kind of takes your breath away and puts a different face on the statistics.

Whew! Talking about taking my breath away...OMG George Clooney has never looked more delicious. I won't tell any more about the story line, but suffice to say there is one instant bit where I think my eyes glazed over and I forgot to breathe! Let me know if you had that reaction to any part of the movie and which part. Okay?

There were numbers of conversations just about the research paper help service. However, university students can understand something about the research writing service purchasing example essays there.
Swooning over George
Bonnie: I love receiving your e-newsletter and couldn't help but respond to your blogging about "Up in the Air." I went to see it with friend Joy who has taken a job that requires 100% travel, so we watched it through the lens of her new life. And I traveled extensively in a publishing sales job that took me around the country, so I could map on to that experience. Lastly, I'm a career coach and also involved in building a career ministry in Wheaton for people who are "Between Successes," so the real-people interviews with folks who had been down-sized did, indeed, put my heart in my throat. It didn't hurt that we had George Clooney to look at throughout the whole movie.
What surprised me was that the trailers for the movie make it sound like a comedy but it was much darker than that... and although I highly recommend that people see the movie, I've warned friends and family that it isn't a yuk-it-up comedy. I love the ending which I won't share (no plot-spoiler, I) but I chose to think that it's filled with possibility--just like our new year!
Thanks for being the Silver Vixen that you are and inspiring the rest of us.

I totally agree!
Vickie,
I totally agree with all your comments about the movie! I always thought that comedies are "yuk'yuk" and was frequently surprised by movies where I may have smiled, but didn't even laugh. Then SJ explained to me that comedy is contrasted with tragedy and is not necessarily funny or even witty. What a revelation! Now I try to get my expectations in line before I see a movie...I am the moviegoer that thinks Pretty Woman is one of the all time best films!
