Sunrise

It is early and as I look out my office window I am nearly breathless at the stunning Arizona sunrise. Today, the colors are so deep and vibrant and so are my feelings this morning.

SilverVixens.com is one year old today! A year ago my excitement could hardly be contained at the launch of my long dreamed of site. It looked eye catching and lively, just like us! The starting line up of columnists reflected many areas of our lives. I thought I knew where I wanted the site to go. I dreamed too small. Now like the changing sunrise before me, the vision for Silver Vixens is even brighter, more colorful, and full of new and exciting possibilities.

I have met so many wonderful women and learned so much in the past year --two of my favorite things to do. I am so excited. One of my favorite quotes is by Dr. Martin Luther King, "Take the first step in faith. You don't have to see the whole staircase. Just take the first step." I have taken many first steps in the last year and I am loving this staircase! Another beautiful new day. Happy Birthday Silver Vixens!
