Well, this is a first!

Here I was watching the political conventions and the still, small voice in the back of my head was saying -- Wow! Joe Biden has a killer smile, he's cute!
I admit to not always having lofty, intellectual thoughts, why lie? Then the next week Sarah Palin is nominated and she too has a killer smile and is cute (not the same thoughts, however) but SHE IS THREE YEARS OLDER THAN MY DAUGHTER!!! Yikes! Clearly this year we will elect a President or Vice President who is younger than me!!! Does this mean I'm getting old? No, defintiely not. Does this mean I'm passe? Absolutely not.

I don't know exactly what to make of this, but it is a tad sobering. What do you think?

Off to see the grands again this week, so let's get together again after the 15th.
